Weeks before F.G. left for Africa, her sister went on a missions trip to Puerto Rico. Many of her Puerto Rico teammates just happen to be (providentially) from the same city as where F.G.'s flight flew out of. So, since we just happen to (providentially) be "in town," we left the airport and drove straight to the church to attend their Sunday service. We were not only welcomed into their worship service as family, but to my wonderful surprise, the pastor also announced our presence as well as where we just came from and why. He announced that [F.G.] was on her way to Africa to be a full-time missionary at [number] years-old! Again, to my WONDERFUL SURPRISE, people started clapping! (Insert Mama crying here!)
I am MORE THAN AMAZED at how INTRICATELY GOD weaves the story of our lives into a BREATH-TAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL picture! I am so very grateful for the beautiful Body of Christ at this warm, family church who so beautifully touched this Mama's hurting heart with the love and beauty of Christ!
Lord willing, in the future, I will have the time to write some more stories on how God INTRICATELY weaves pieces of our lives into a breath-takingly beautiful picture...for the sake of the Gospel!
