I am praying that God put F.G. to bed and that she is resting and sleeping well. When she arises, she will be serving and enjoying her church members (they call their church service "Sunday Morning Bible Study") one last time before she leaves Africa at the end of her Africa internship. So...let's pray!
Dear God, in the name of Jesus, I come to You to lift up my daughter, YOUR daughter, F.G., as she serves and worships with the Sunday Morning Bible Study.
As of late, there has been good attendance at the Sunday Morning Bible Study! :) Thank You so very much, God!
That is SOOOO INCREDIBLY EXCITING! :)
However, it will be F.G.'s last Sunday Morning Bible Study.
And that is sad. :(
Where there is sadness in F.G.'s heart over leaving the Bible Study members, I am praying for comfort for her. Holy Spirit, The Divine Paraclete, the One called alongside to help, please come alongside F.G. and comfort her.
2 Corinthians 1:4
New Living Translation
He comforts us in all our troubles
I don't know exactly what she needs right now, as she sleeps, nor do I know what she will need when she wakes up, but YOU do! I don't know what You want me to pray for for her, but YOU do!
New Living Translation
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
Please help me to pray for her.
And please help her. Help her to ENJOY the time she has with the precious members of the Sunday Morning Bible Study.
New Living Translation
"I am leaving you with a gift--peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid.
Please, Lord, give F.G. the "gift of Your peace." May her heart not be troubled. May she truly, with ALL FULLNESS, ENJOY cooking breakfast for her church members, ENJOY serving breakfast to her church members, and ENJOY her time worshiping You, Lord, with the people that she has come to love and cherish!
English Standard Version (ESV)
6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
May YOUR peace - Your incredible peace that passes all human understanding - FILL Your daughter's heart and spill out as Your breath and love upon those precious church members!
I don't know what or how, but I am asking You, Lord, to, somehow, Divinely orchestrate for her a "GOD-moment" or a "special, Divine memory" from her last Sunday Morning Bible Study that she knows...that she knows...that she knows is "YOUR MOMENT...YOUR MEMORY" for her that YOU are lovingly depositing into her heart for her to "carry with her" and forever cherish as she transitions through the last Bible Study.
F.G.'s last Bible Study may be "one of the firsts of many lasts" during this season of transition. Therefore, I am asking that You, The God of ALL Comfort, would hand-pick those moments for her in any and every area of current and near-future transition. Please, Lord, give her a "moment" or memory directly from Your Throneroom for her to cherish in every sad transition she is currently experiencing or will experience.
Please, Lord, do something for F.G. during her last Sunday Morning Bible Study that she is not expecting - something beautiful - just like You...
something precious - just like You...
something unique - just like You...
something wonderful - just like You...
something that she will forever cherish in her heart - just like she will forever cherish You in her heart...
and just like YOU have always for eternity past and will forever in all of eternity future cherish HER in YOUR heart!
F.G. is Your special daughter that You called to a special people to minister in her special way with the special gifts that You have given her.
Therefore, I ask that You would give her a special gift from You - from Your heart - as she pours her God-given gift out to those church members. Please, Lord, give her the gift of Your Spirit, the gift of Your peace, the gift of Your joy, and the gift of Your special Divine memory for her to cherish.
THANK YOU, LORD, SOOOOO MUCH for what You are doing right now as she sleeps in Your comforting and loving embrace and what You will do when she awakes to prepare for, serve, worship with, and enjoy her Bible Study brothers and sisters! THANK YOU, LORD!!!!!!!!!
I pray in Jesus' special name, AMEN!
